Hello guys, Today I am going to talk about my personal experience of still using PHP for backend web development. I started web development in 2016 and at that time I learned PHP as a backend development language. In between 2016 to 2021 I learned many new languages and frameworks such as Node Js, Go Lang, ROR, and Python as they are in demand by companies.
I have built and managed many projects on PHP, and am still using it for some of my projects. I am going to provide some points to describe why I think to still use PHP in 2021.
No doubt, PHP is very easy to learn because of the resources available for beginners and its syntax. PHP is very beginner-friendly and provides a very large community which makes it easy, to begin with.
To get started with PHP you need to install PHP and also need to have knowledge of HTML, CSS, and MySql for databases. I am going to write the very first “hello world” program in PHP to get started with.
<?php echo “Hello World”; ?>
Output: Hello World

It is another big reason which I am thinking keeps PHP alive and in demand. Laravel is a very useful and great framework of PHP and it has a great development team and great mentor Taylor Otwell.
